Srinagar, Feb 24: A minor boy died after drowning in the pond in Udina area which comes under Police Jurisdiction Pattan this evening.
Reports reaching Asian News Hub said that a 03-year-old Sakib Abass son of Sajad Hussain Dar resident of Udina, which comes under police jurisdiction Pattan drowned in the pond adjacent to his home.
They said, body was retrieved and immediately taken to nearby medical facility, where he was reffered to SKIMS Bemina for specialised treatment. However, the boy was declared brought dead.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of this incident.
