Udhampur, Feb 16: A tragic road accident occurred on Sunday morning near Darmthal on the Srinagar-Jammu Highway, resulting in the death of a car driver.
Quoting an official news agency JKNS reported that the deceased has been identified as Ashkoor, son of Raj Ali from Sarmoli village. He died on the spot after a truck lost control and collided with his vehicle.
The body was shifted to Government Medical College Hospital, Udhampur, for a post-mortem examination.
Five Gamblers Arrested in Budgam
Meanwhile, the police have arrested the truck driver and registered a case in this regard.
