A religious cleric was killed, while three others were injured in a road accident in Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Friday evening.

Reports reaching Asian News Hub (ANH) said that two vehicles collided with each other near Banibagh Kangan on Friday evening, resulting in injuries to four persons.
The injured identified as Molvi Qaiser Ahmad Wani, Siraj-ud-din Mir, both residents of Gund and Tariq Ahmad Rather, Mohammad Shafi Sheikh, both residents of Saloora Ganderbal were shifted to Sub-district Hospital Kangan for treatment.
Molvi Qaisar Ahmad Wani was referred to SKIMS Soura for specialised treatment. However he sccumbed at the hospital. The condition of other injured persons is said to be stable.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident.
