Srinagar, May 01: A female tourist died while another sustained injuries in a road accident in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Wednesday evening.
News agency Kashmir Scroll reported that an accident took place in the health resort of Sonamarg when a Tata mobile bearing registration number JK01 AT 0637 met with an accident.
In the accident, one female tourist lost her life, while another sustained injuries and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for advanced treatment, they said.

A police officer also confirmed the road accident and identified deceased tourist as Sushila wife of Late Babu More of Pune Maharashtra. The officer identified injured as Mehraj Ahmad Ganai son of Mashoq Ahmad Ganai of Haril Handwara. The officer said that a case in this regard has been registered and further investigation has been initiated, they added.
