Four residential houses were damaged in an overnight blaze at Kharoosh mohalla, Abi-Nowpora area of Srinagar on Tuesday, officials said.

An official told Asiannewshub.com that four residential houses belonging to Mudasir Ahmad Matta, Zahoor Ahmad Dar, Mohd Sidiq Matta and Tabasum Mehnaz were gutted in an overnight blaze.
He said that timely action prevented the fire from spreading further in the congested locality, adding that there was no loss of life or injury to any.

Meanwhile police has taken cognizance of the incident and cause of fire was not known immediately.
