(Asian News Hub) – The residents and shopkeepers from Bemina area of Srinagar on Monday staged a protest at Press Enclave here, demanding resumption of Out-patient Department (OPD) services at JVC hospital in the locality.
According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the protesters said “Despite having 90% vacancy of beds available at 500 bed DRDO hospital at Khonmoh, the authorities stopped OPD services at JVC hospital, causing problems to the patients especially the pregnant women.”
“We demand the resumption of OPD services at JVC hospital as per the orders issued by the Director Health Services, Kashmir,” they said.
We appeal Lieutenant Governor led administration, Director Health and other concerned authorities to ensure the resumption of OPD services at JVC hospital, they said.
