Says NC is answerable to people for killing 120 youth in 2010, BJP represents 130 crore people of all religions of India
(Asian News Hub) – Bhartiya Janata Party J&K spokesman Altaf Thakur took a jibe at National Conference leader who accused the party of being communal stating that they don’t lead lectures on communalism as NC is known for its role played on April 04, 1979, when Pakistani prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was hanged and how NC leaders closed down Islamic schools, torched holy quran and shaved off beard of people.
In a statement, JKBJP Spokesperson Altaf Thakur said that BJP is a party that leads 1.30 Crore people of all religions of the country. “We do remember very well how NC leaders took undue advantage of Bhutoo’s hanging in J & K and closed down all Islamic schools, shaved off beards of people, and set ablaze holy quran across J&K.

“Those involved in this gruesome crime shouldn’t accuse BJP of spreading communalism. The fact is that BJP is the party that is upholding the sanctity of all religions. Today people belonging to every religion hold their heads high and there is no communalism anywhere in India,” Thakur said while referring to the statements made by one of the NC leaders where the BJP was accused of spreading hatred and communalism.

Thakur also said that people do remember how NC leader and the then chief minister Omar Abdullah acted as a mute spectator when 120 youth were killed on Kashmiri streets in 2010. “NC is accountable for 120 lives and should give answers how budding flowers were killed under the supervision of Omar Abdullah. Before giving lectures on communalism, NC must peep into its own houses and cupboards where many skeltons lie still,” the BJP leader said.
