Srinagar, Jan 24: National Conference president Dr Farooq Abdullah and his son, NC vice president Omar Abdullah on Wednesday left for Saudi Arabia to perform ‘Umrah’, a minor pilgrimage to the twin Muslim holy cities of Mecca and Medina.
“Allāhumma innī urīdu l-‘umrata fa yassirhā lī wa taqabbalhā minnī. O Allah, I intend to perform Umrah, so make it easy for me and accept it from me,” Omar Abdullah wrote on X.
