Srinagar, May 13: A disturbing video of Rifleman Dilshair Mushtaq of the Indian Army has surfaced on social media, circulated by suspected inimical elements. In the clip, the soldier is seen making false accusations, seemingly under duress.

Rifleman Mushtaq as per the sources has been missing since March 3, 2025, after he went on leave. A formal case regarding his disappearance was registered, but his sudden appearance in the viral video has raised serious concerns.

Sources indicate that the soldier appears to be speaking under pressure, likely coerced by anti-national forces. The manner in which the accusations were delivered suggests he may be in captivity or under extreme duress.

Entire Economy of Pahalgam in Trouble After April Attack

Lance Naik Dilshair Mushtaq of 12 JAK LI, presently attached to 29 RR in Pattan, has been reported missing since March 3, 2025. The 31-year-old soldier, son of Mushtaq Ahmad Sofi and a resident of Sofigund, near Arapal, was last seen at his aunt’s house in Waskura, Ganderbal.

Sources said that security agencies are investigating the matter, treating it as a possible case of abduction and psychological coercion.

The official further said that incident highlights the ongoing psychological warfare tactics employed by hostile elements to malign security forces.

Meanwhile, his family has filed a formal complaint at the Waskura Police Post on March 11, 2025, seeking assistance in tracing his whereabouts.
