(Asian News Hub) – Kashmir’s Grand Mufti, Nasir ul Islam on Wednesday said that Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated across Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, saying that the Shawwal moon has been sighted late Thursday evening.

Talking to the news agency—KNO, Grand Mufti said that the Shawwal moon has been sighted.

He said that Eid-ul-Fitr to be celebrated across J&K on Thursday. He also extended Eid greetings to the Muslim Ummah and prayed for peace and prosperity of people of Jammu and Kashmir.
