Srinagar, April 19: The wife of senior video journalist Javed Ahmad Dar, associated with Daily Excelsior, passed away on Friday following a prolonged illness. Her demise has left the journalistic community in mourning.
The last rites of the deceased were held on Friday evening and witnessed a large turnout of people, including fellow journalists and well-wishers, who gathered to offer their final respects.
The “fatiha khawani” (Chahrum) of the departed soul will be observed on Monday, 21st April 2025. Special prayers are scheduled for 9:30 AM at their ancestral graveyard located in the Zoonimar area of Srinagar.
