Bandipora, Mar 08: A 03-year-old girl died after drowning in a water pond in a village in Bandipora district this afternoon.
Quoting an official news agency Kashmir Scroll reported that an information was received about the drowning of a minor Dua Zehra (3), daughter of Kifayat Hussain, of Peth Mohalla Harinara.
“After initiation of a rescue operation, the body of minor girl was retrieved and taken to Trauma Hospital, where the doctors declared her brought dead on arrival,” they said.

“The minor girl has been handed over to the family for last rites,” they added.
