Govt employee falls unconscious in Srinagar, dies

Srinagar, Feb 12: A government employee in the Irrigation Department fell unconscious while performing duties and passed away this afternoon.

According to reports, Abdul Ahad Wani resident of Sheikh Mohalla Harwan, a government employee in the Irrigation Department, reportedly fell unconscious while performing duties at Wangund Tailbal.

They said he was shifted to UPHC Hazratbal for treatment, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident, and preliminary investigations suggest that the aforementioned government employee died of a cardiac arrest.
