Srinagar, Sept 28: Jammu and Kashmir WAQF board chairperson Dr Darakhshan Andrabi on Wednesday chaired a meeting at Central Office of the Board to review the arrangements for observance of forthcoming Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).

Representative officers of Srinagar Municipal Corporation, Police, Tourism Directorate, JKPDCL, Directorate of Health Services, RTO, JKPCC, PHE, SICOP, PWD, LCMA, Fire & Emergency Services, attended the meeting.

While chairing the meeting, a roadmap for updating facilities for the celebrations at all major shrines and religious places was discussed. Action to be taken by different departments was decided on the spot.

Dr Darakhshan Andrabi after congratulating the people on Eid Milad-un-Nabi(PBUH) stressed for making fool proof mechanism for giving all require facilities to devotees and pilgrims during the Milad celebrations and the coordinated efforts of all departments will help us in creating better facilities as expected by the people, she added.
