Srinagar, Nov 03: Additional Director General of Police Kashmir Zone Vijay Kumar on Thrusday evening called militant attack on non-locals in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district as cowardice and inhuman act.

Quoting ADGP Vijay Kumar, Kashmir Zone Police in a tweet said,” This is a #cowardice & inhumane act of #terrorism. The victims were called by terrorist to come out to engage in a work. Once both came out, #terrorist fired upon them with pistol. We are investigating on top priority. Culprit would be brought to justice soon.”

Earlier Two non-locals one from Nepal identified as Till Bahadur Thapa and Bihku Ram from Bihar were shot and injured by militants in Wanihama area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday evening.

Both the injured were shifted to District hospital Anantnag for treatment, where condition of one among the injured is said to be critical.
