Kupwara, Feb 29: A man allegedly killed his wife in Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district tonight.
Reports reaching Asian News Hub that a man identified as Mohammad Maqbool Mir son of Ali Mohammad Mir resident of Check audoora Qalamabad Handwara, used some sharp object to attack his wife, resulting in her onspot death.
The deceased has been Rafeeqa Begum and was a house wife.

Police has taken cognizance of the incident, arrested the accused person and shifted the body to GMC Handwara for medico-legal formalities.
