Islamabad, Feb 28: The Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee announced on Friday that the Ramazan moon was not sighted anywhere in Pakistan. As a result, the first fast of the holy month will be observed on Sunday, March 2, 2025.
Committee Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, speaking to the media in Peshawar, stated that zonal committees were set up across the country to receive moon sighting testimonies. However, no credible reports were received.

“After reaching a consensus, it was decided that Ramazan will begin on Sunday,” he confirmed.
