New Delhi, Mar 29: The death toll from Myanmar’s devastating 7.7 magnitude earthquake has surpassed 1,600, the ruling junta announced on Saturday, as rescuers continue to search through the rubble.
Around 3,408 people have been injured in the powerful quake, with 130 still reported missing beneath the debris.
