Baramulla, April 18: In a significant move to counter unlawful activities and dismantle terror networks, Baramulla Police conducted a search operation at the residence of Masqood Allie, son of Mohammad Sultan Allie, a resident of Chakloo, Baramulla, on April 17, 2025, police said.
In a media statement, a police spokesman said that the operation, part of an investigation into FIR No. 12/2024 registered under sections 10 and 13 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, was carried out in the presence of an Executive Magistrate.

During the search, police recovered several incriminating items allegedly linked to the banned outfit Muslim League (Masrat Alam Faction), including:
Six posters of the “Muslim League – Masrat Alam Faction,” One membership card, One Lava keypad phone with SIM card, One Samsung smartphone (battery and SIM card removed), One white pendrive, One locket-type pendrive, and Rs 30,000 in cash.
All seized items have been logged as evidence. The investigation is ongoing, and further legal action will be initiated as per the findings.
Baramulla Police reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining law and order and emphasized that strict action will continue against elements involved in anti-national activities to ensure peace and security in the district, the spokesman added.
