Srinagar, April 17: Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan, and Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan, have been selected for the prestigious Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration.
Both districts have been recognized under the category of Holistic Development of Districts, following a rigorous four-stage evaluation process, which included a detailed spot study conducted by teams deputed by the Government of India.
The award, which honors outstanding contributions in public service, is conferred annually by the Prime Minister of India on the occasion of Civil Services Day.
This recognition marks a significant achievement for the districts of Kulgam and Kupwara and highlights the impactful initiatives and developmental work carried out under the leadership of the two officers.
