Srinagar, June 27: A man hailing from Shopian died in a road accident in Punjab this evening.
Reports reaching Asian News Hub said that Ubaid Ahmad Tak, son of Abdul Rasheed Tak, a resident of Shopian, a driver by profession, was critically injured after being hit by Scorpio vehicle in Punjab on Wednesday evening.
They said he was rushed to nearby hospital for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries this evening.

Meanwhile, Punjab Police have taken cognizance of the incident and the body of deceased is being shifted to his native village Tak Mohalla Shopian for last rites.
