Srinagar, Mar 06: A three-storey residential house was damaged in a fire incident in Chanapora area of Srinagar this midnight.
An official from F&ES department told Asian News Hub that three-storeyed residential house in Chanapora was involved in a fire due to an electric short circuit this midnight, resulting in partial damage to the ceilings, doors, windows, furnishings, bedding, internal wooden paneling, refrigerator, geysers, washing machine, laptop, gold jewelry, and other household goods on the ground and first floors.
Simultaneously, the adjacent single-storey Food and Supplies store incurred indirect damage from the heat and water during the incident, he said.

Meanwhile, the police have taken cognizance of the incident, and fortunately, there was no loss of life or injury to any.
