Director meteorological department, Jammu & Kashmir Sonam Lotus on Friday said that mainly hot and dry weather is likely to prevail again for next one week as there’s no forecast of any major or good spell of rain in J&K.

He said that rain occurred at scattered places of Jammu and Kashmir during morning hours and there’s slight respite in heat wave.
Like today, brief spell of Rain is likely to occur at isolated to scattered places of Jammu and Kashmir during next 1-2 days. So no Major respite expected for next one week, he said.
