A bike rider lost his life after his bike skidded off the road in Mattan area of South Kashmir Anantnag district on Thursday evening.

The bike rider received critical injuries after his bike bearing registration number skidded off the road at Chattisinghpora Mattan Anantnag.
He was shifted to GMC Associated hospital Janglat Mandi Anantnag where he was declared dead on arrival.
He has been identified as Farooq Ahmad Akhoon son of Gh Mohammad resident of Kreeri Shangus.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and started investigation. KS
