Srinagar, Feb 24: Nine residential houses were damaged in two separate fire incidents in Kursoo Rajbagh and Rathpora Eidgah areas of Srinagar on Monday.
An official told ANH that six residential houses were affected in the fire at Kursoo Rajbagh, with four houses almost completely damaged and two partially affected.
Similarly, in Rathpora Eidgah, three residential houses suffered damage due to the fire.

Firefighters, with the help of police and locals, managed to douse the flames, preventing further destruction. Fortunately, there was no loss of life or injuries reported.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident, and the cause of the fire was not immediately known.
