Sopore, Mar 03: Two minor boys were rescued after they drowned in Nallah Mundji in the Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district this afternoon.
An official told Asian News Hub that two minor boys, identified as Areeb Bashir Mir, son of Bashir Ahmad Mir, and Sabiq Mushtaq Mir, son of Mushtaq Ahmad Mir, both residents of Mundji Sopore, slipped into Nallah in their native village.
He said, soon after the incident, a major rescue operation was launched by 22RR of the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police, with the help of locals.

Both the minor boys were rescued and were taken to SDH Sopore for treatment, where condition of Sabiq Mushtaq is said to be critical, he said.
