Srinagar, March 25: A man allegedly attempted to end his life by jumping into the River Jhelum in the Rajbagh area of Srinagar; however, he was rescued and subsequently shifted to the hospital on sunday night.
Reports reaching Asian News Hub said that a man, resident of Batamaloo allegedly committed suicide by jumping into river Jhelum from zero bridge in Rajbagh.
They said, subsequently a rescue operation was launched by the Srinagar police and locals, rescued the body in time and removed it to SMHS hospital for treatment, where his condition is reported to be critical.

Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard.
