Srinagar, March 16: The body of man who had jumped into river jhelum from Safakadal bridge last month retrieved from Parimpora this morning.
Reports reaching Asian News Hub said that a man from Iddgah Srinagar had allegedly committed suicide by jumping into river jhelum from Safakadal bridge on February 29.
They said subsequently a rescue operation was launched to retrieve his body, and after 16 days his body was fished out from jhelum in Parimpora this morning.

The body has been shifted to SMHS Hospital for medicolegal formalities and will be handed over to family.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the matter.
