Srinagar, March 26: A driver died in a road accident after a vehicle rolled down into a deep gorge in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, reports said.
Reports reaching Asian News Hub state that a man identified as Mohammad Qasim Waloo, son of Ali Mohammad Waloo, a resident of Sumbal Bandipora, died after the Bolero vehicle he was driving lost control, causing the vehicle to roll down into a deep gorge on the Zojila-Kargil road.
Soon after the incident, his body was retrieved and shifted to hospital for medicolegal formalities.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.
