Srinagar, Feb 24: Body of a woman who was missing since December last year retrieved from river jhelum in Sumbal area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora.
Reports said that body of a woman was seen floating in river jhelum by some locals in Sumbal this afternoon, who subsequently informed the local police.
They said local police reached the spot and fished out the body from river jhelum and shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities.

The deceased woman has been identified as Khatija Begum, wife of Abdul Rehman Bhat resident of Kanidewar Hawal Srinagar.
It is pertinent to mention that the deceased lady was missing from her residence since 27 December last year.
