Kulgam, Jan 03: A mosque and a residential house were damaged in a fire incident in Frisal area of South Kashmir Kulgam district on Wednesday.
Quoting an official news agency Kashmir Scroll reported that during night hours fire broke out in the joint partitioned residential house of Jahangir Ahmed Pala son of Abdul Aziz Pala and Ab Majeed Pala son of Ab Aziz Pala resident of Gundbal, which engulfed due to which the residential house was gutted completely.

They said that the rooftop of two storey mosque was also damaged, before fire was bought under control by fire tenders along with help of police and locals.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and cause of fire is being ascertained.
