Srinagar, Jan 06: A student from north Kashmir’s Baramulla district has died in Iran where he was pursuing MBBS even as his family has appealed to the authorities to help them bring her body back home.
Reports said that Mohammad Arsalan Kanjwal resident of Nowpora Sopore district Baramulla, a fourth-year medical student at the Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS), has passed away. The news has left the community in shock.
The family members appealed to the concerned authorities to help them to bring his body back for the last rites.
“An official communication has been sent to resident commissioner New Delhi with the request to get back body of Arsalan. The office of resident commissioner has assured their full support to get back the body of Sopore student from Iran,” ADC Sopore was quoted as saying by local daily.
