A man was killed while another was injured in a road accident that occured in Nambal area of Awantipora in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday.
Reports reaching Asian News Hub (ANH) said that two persons identified as Zakir Hussain and Mohammad Illyas both residents of Leh were critically injured after the motorcycle they were travelling on was hit by tractor in Nambal area of Awantipora on Sunday late afternoon.
They said both the injured were rushed to SMHS hospital for treatment. However, Zakir hussain succumbed to his injuries this morning, while the condition of Illyas is said to be critical.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.
