A school boy slipped to death into a nallah (rivulet) in Surankote area of district Poonch on Saturday, officials said.

They said that the 12-year-old boy slipped into the Chandimarh Noori Chamb Nallah in Surankote area of Poonch District. Immediately a rescue operation was launched and the body of boy was retrieved and shifted to Hospital in unconscious state. However, the boy was declared brought dead.
The boy has been identified as Faisal Pervaiz son of Parvaiz Ahmed of Banwat, Poonch.
