Says prepared to tackle Covid situation in J&K
Secretary Health and Medical Education (H&ME) Department J&K, Bhupinder Kumar on Friday said that the foot over bridge at Children’s hospitals, Bemina here is already under consideration and the matter will be taken with the concerned authorities again.
Talking exclusively with the Asian News Hub (ANH), Kumar said that the proposal with regard to the construction of foot over bridge at Children hospital is already there.
“The matter will be raised with the concerned authorities again and soon a process will be started in this regard,” he said when asked about frequent accidents near the spot.
About the number of medical shops outside the Children’s hospital, he said already the adequate shops have been made available there and the situation is being monitored..
He said that in case the need arises, the number of medical shops will be increased.
Asked about the Covid resurgence, the Secretary Health and Medical Education said that all the necessary arrangements have been made to tackle the situation.
Furthermore, he said that the arrangements about oxygen plants, concentrators and other things have been ensured. He also appealed to the people to go for testing in case there are symptoms.
