Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Kashmir, Vijay Kumar on Thursday said that over 11kilograms of Heroin worth Rs 70 crore in international market & Rs 11,82,500 in cash have been seized from two cross-border narco smugglers in Srinagar.
Kashmir Zone Police as per Asian News Hub (ANH) quoted ADGP Kashmir as saying that two cross-border narco smugglers identified as Sajjad Badana and Zaheer Tanch of Karnah Kupwara were arrested by Srinagar Police.
He said that 11.089 Kgs of Heroin (worth Rs 70 crore in international market) & Rs 11,82,500 in cash have been seized from their possession while a case in NDPS Act has been registered at Rajbagh Police Station.
“2 cross-border narco smugglers namely Sajjad Badana & Zaheer Tanch of Karnah Kupwara arrested by Srinagar Police. 11.089 Kgs of Heroin (worth Rs 70 crore in international market) & 11,82,500 in cash seized.
