Amid speculations over Eid prayers at Eidgah, sources on Wednesday said that the congregational prayers will be offered at the venue only after the security clearance, which has not been given yet.

“The security as well as the agency clearance is imperative for allowing the congregational Eid prayers at Eidgah. However, there has been no security and agency clearance yet,” sources told Asian News Hub (ANH).
They said that the prayers will be allowed at Eidgah only after the security and agencies give clearance in this regard.
Pertinently, the Waqf Board Chairperson, Dr Darakshan Andrabi had stated that the Eid prayers will be held at Eidgah this year after the gap of three years.
The Eid prayers have not been held at Eidgah since 2019, while Waqf Chairperson had claimed that the elaborate arrangements will be made this year to offer congregational Eid prayers at Eidgah.
