A conductor was killed while the driver was injured as truck rams into electric pole at Shalteng area of Srinagar outskirts on Saturday evening.

Reports reaching Asian News Hub (ANH) said that a truck driven by Dalweer Singh, a resident of Jammu, hit an electric pole in Shalteng this evening.
They said in the incident conductor of the truck identified as Kala, a resident of Punjab, received an electric shock and driver received minor injuries.
Both the injured were rushed to JVC hospital for treatment, where conductor identified as Kala was declared brought dead on arrival, whereas the condition of the driver is said to be stable.
Meanwhile police has taken cognizance of the incident.
