Body of a girl who allegedly jumped into the river Jhelum in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district last month was recovered this afternoon.

Reports reaching Asian News Hub (ANH) said that on 31 December, a girl name withheld allegedly jumped into river Jehlum from Khanbagh bridge in Baramulla following which a rescue operation was launched to retrieve her body.
They said that after 26 days her body was fished out from river Jehlum at Veerean Baramulla this afternoon.
Ater legal-medico formalities body will be handed over to family.
