Srinagar, June 12: A pedestrian was killed in a road accident at Gogjibagh area of Srinagar on Sunday.

Official sources told News Agency Kashmir News Observer-(KNO) that a 50-year-old pedestrian identified as Ghulam Ahmad Matta resident of Batamaloo was hit by a load carrier in Gogjibagh this afternoon.
In the incident the pedestrian was critically injured and was rushed to SMHS Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries this evening.

Meanwhile, police has taken cognizance of the incident and a case under section 279, 337 has been registered.
