Baramulla, June 18: The Government Primary School at Binner village of Baramulla district displays a grim picture of the education sector in Kashmir, as the school has just one classroom for more than 50 students.
“Only two rooms are available among which one has been designated for mid-day meals kitchen purposes at the school while only single room is available to accommodate more than 50 students from 1st to 5th standard,” locals told the news agency—Kashmir News Observe (KNO).
The locals claimed that they have informed the concerned authorities but nothing has happened on the ground so far. “The big claims of the government are known here because the school lacks a lot of infrastructure and accommodation,” Abdul Majeed a local said.
