Srinagar, March 30(ANH): Srinagar Police arrests 06 persons who were involved in a stabbing incident at Badamwari area of Rainawari.

In a statement issued here, a police spokesman said that on 28- 03-2022 in the evening hours, a scuffle broke out outside Badamwari between the two groups comprising of young boys, over a trivial issue, wherein at the begining two boys had a small quarrel with each other and lateron two groups took their sides.
The fight ended in the stabbing of one boy resulting in serious injuries to him, while as other boy also sustained injuries in the incident. The injured were later on operated upon SMHS Karannagar and SKIMS Soura hospitals, respectively.
Those injured were identified as Tariq ahmad sheikh son of Bashir ahmad resident of Radpora khaniyar, Arshad ahmad sheikh son of Ab rashid shiekh resident of Hamda kadal Shiekh colony Hawal.
In this context Case under FIR NO 19/2022 U/S 307, 325,147,148 IPC Stands registered in Police Station Rainawari.
Many suspects were apprehended for questioning. During questioning, following 6 persons were prima-facie found to be involved in the commission of crime and have been arrested identified as Danish ahmad sheikh son of Mustaq ahmad resident of Sheikh Colony Hawal, Farhan ahmad mir son of Ghulam nabi mir resident of Kak Mohalla Nowhatta, Shahzib Altaf Ahangar son of Mohd altaf resident of Gojwara Nowhatta, Arbaz Ahmad Bhat son of Mohd altaf bhat resident of Maqdoom Sahab Nowhatta, Tavqeer Sidiq Gojree son of Mohd sidiq gojree resident of Radpora Khaniyar and Waseem Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam ahmad dar resident of Kakamohalla Nowhatta.
Other accused persons, who were part of either of the two groups are being identified and will be arrested in due course, the spokesman said.
