(Asian News Hub) – The subscribers of private telecom company, Jio Friday complained about erratic calling and Internet services in Chount-Waliwar area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Subscribers to the Jio mobile network inChount-Waliwar and its adjoining areas told news agency— Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that they are facing immense problems due to erratic calling and internet services.

“We are unable to contact our nears and dears as every time we dial the number, the network comes either busy, switched off, the number does not exist or shows a number not registered on network. This often comes on Jio network,” aggrieved residents told KNO, adding that due to poor network call drops happen frequently.

“We apprised the Area Manager of Jio Company about the erratic service many times, but no step was taken to address the issue,” they said. They said if at all call gets connected, the audio quality is so poor that they are forced to disconnect the call.
Basharat Ahmed, a local resident said that poor connectivity of the Jio network in the area has also taken a toll on students, who are dependent on E-Learning and urged the Jio authorities to address the issue on priority.
