(Asian News Hub) – Amid the scorching heat, the weatherman has predicted another spell of light rainfall across Jammu and Kashmir from 28 July, saying that the Jammu parts would receive heavy rainfall on tomorrow morning.
Director Meteorological department (MeT), Sonum Lotus told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that there is a possibility of light rainfall at isolated places across Jammu and Kashmir from July 28.
“The parts of J&K would receive light rains from July 28-July 30,” he said, adding that on July 27 (tomorrow), some places in Jammu would receive heavy rainfall in the morning.
The three-day wet spell comes at a time when Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir simmered at 33.3 degree Celsius on Monday.
According to the details available, Bandipora in northern Kashmir was hottest in Kashmir where mercury settled at 33.4 degree Celsius.
A temperature of 32.7 degree Celsius was recorded in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district while Pahalgam and Gulmarg, the famous tourist places recorded 27.5 and 22.4 degree Celsius respectively.
