Dry weather conditions to prevail till end of the month: Kashmir Weather

(Asian News Hub) – Dry and sunny weather conditions continued for the 4th straight day in Jammu and Kashmir raising the mercury to several degrees above the normal.
Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, recorded the highest temperature of the season at 29.4°C, which is 3.3°C above the normal for this time of the year.
Kupwara, in north Kashmir, recorded a high temperature of 30.0°C, 3.5 degrees above the average.
Kokernag, Qazigund, Pahalgam and Gulmarg recorded maximum temperatures of 28.1°C, 29.3°C, 25.2°C and 19.0°C respectively.
Mercury in Jammu region also stayed several degrees above the normal, making the atmospheric conditions sweltry.
Jammu City recorded a maximum temperature of 41.6°C which is 2.5 degrees above the normal.
Banihal, Batote, Bhaderwah and Katra recorded high temperatures of 29.6°C, 30.6°C, 31.0°C, and 38.0°C respectively.
As per Kashmir weather, mostly dry and sunny weather conditions are expected to continue till 31 May with a possibility of thundershowers at a few places on 29, 30 & 31.
