A youth was allegedly stabbed in Nowhatta area of Srinagar on Friday evening, accused has been arrested, reports said.

Reports reaching Asian News Hub (ANH) said that a youth identified as Sahil Ahmad Baba, a resident of Tujgari mohalla, was allegedly stabbed by another youth in Nowhatta this evening.
They said that Sahil Baba was shifted to JLNM hospital Rainawari for treatment, where from he has been shifted to SMHS hospital for advanced treatment.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and have arrested the accused, they said.
Srinagar police in a tweet said, “Accused namely Zubair Ahmed Bhat of Rajouri kadal, Srinagar arrested for stabbing & grievously injuring a person with knife. FIR No 27/2023 under sections 323,341 & 307 of IPC registered in Nowhatta PS. Weapon of offence also recovered.”
