A youth allegedly committed suicide by jumping into river Jhelum from bypass bridge near tulibal in Sopore on Tuesday evening.

Reports reaching Asian News Hub (ANH) said that a youth (name withheld) resident of Sopore allegedly committed suicide by jumping into river Jhelum from Bypass Bridge near tulibal area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district this evening.
Soon after the incident, a rescue operation was launched by police along with the help of locals and fished out the body within no time and has been rushed to SDH Sopore for treatment. However, doctors declared him brought dead.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.
