Srinagar, Nov 30: A 21-year-old youth lost his life after a collision between a bike and a Tavera vehicle near Gurdwara in Shalteng area of Srinagar on Sunday morning.
Reports said that the injured rider, identified as Faiq, son of Muzaffar Ahmad, a resident of Zainakote Umerabad, was shifted to JVC Hospital Bemina in critical condition with multiple injuries.
Hospital authorities said he was declared dead by doctors shortly after reaching the hospital.

Police have taken note of the incident and further investigation has been initiated.
