(Asian News Hub) – In a significant development, The Jammu & Kashmir Government on Monday approved 15 percent reservation for women for non- gazetted posts in J&K police.

In a tweet, according to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), J&K government said that it has approved 15 percent reservation for women in non- gazetted posts in J&K Police.

“On NationalGirlChildDay, approved 15% reservation for women in non-gazetted posts of @JmuKmrPolice. This is just the beginning. We are determined and committed to increase it further in the future”.
