Srinagar, May 03: A woman was killed in a hit-and-run case in maloora area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Thursday last night.
Quoting an official news agency Kashmir Scroll reported that an accident took place in the Maloora area when an elderly woman, identified as Sundre Begum, wife of Mohd Ramzan, was critically injured after being hit by an unknown vehicle.
They said she was immediately taken to JVC hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started investigation.
